Bhakti Yog Centre is very pleased to announce the arrival of Sripad Vana Maharaja to Australia. Sripad Vana Maharaja joined in the early 1980s and has been staying with our Gurudeva, Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja, in Mathura. Since the late 1990s he has been travelling all over the world speaking Bhagavat Katha and the process of devotional service to the Supreme Lord.

He will be in Brisbane from 10th August to 16^th August. We are encouraging everyone to please take advantage of this opportunity.

Sripad Rasananda Das

Brisbane Bhakti Yog Centre is very pleased to announce the arrival of Sri Rasananda prabhu to Australia. Sri Rasananda Prabhu has been looking after our Temple at Sri Vrindavan Dham for the last 15 years. He is very knowledgeable in Vedic Scriptures and especially the sweet pastimes of Sri Krishna in Sri Vrindavana.
We apologise that this tour is so soon after Sripad Tirtha Maharaja’s Bhagavat Sapta, however this is the only time he could come to Australia this year. After the request of many devotees who heard from him last year, he is coming this year.
He will be in Australia for 3.5 weeks and will be in Brisbane, Melbourne, Murwillumbah and Sydney. We are encouraging everyone to please take advantage of this opportunity.

He will be is Brisbane between 19th May and 26th May.

On the 27th May is Sri Narasimha Caturdasi, the appearance day of Lord Narasimha – the half man, half lion incarnation of the Supreme Lord. However on the 27th, Rasananda Prabhuji will be flying to Melbourne. So we will be performing abhisekh of Sri Laksmi Narasimha on the 26th May at Sriman Prakash Raniga’s place (16 Tarrabool Place, West Lake). The story of Sri Pralad and Lord Narasimha is very instructive to us and Rasananda Prabhuji will be explaining the instructions and teachings of these pastimes on the days preceding Sri Narasimha Caturdasi.

In this auspicious month of Purshottam, we are very fortunate to get association of sadhus and listen to hari katha.

Sripad Tirtha Maharaja, one of the senior most disciples of our Gurudeva, from Vrndavana Mathura, has just arrived in Australia. Maharajaji has been with our Gurudeva for more than 30 years and is well versed in Srimad Bhagavatam and other Vedic scriptures.

He will be in Australia for a month where he will visit Murwillumbah, Brisbane and Sydney.

He will be in Murwillumbah from 19th April to 29th April.
He will be in Brisbane from 30 April to 11 May.
He will be in Sydney from 12 May to 22 May after which he will going to Auckland and then to Fiji.

In Brisbane, there will be Bhagavat Sapta at our Darra Centre, 28 King Edward Avenue, from the evening of May 3 to the evening of May 9. Details are attached.

On the morning of 9th May (Sunday) there has been a bus arranged to go to the Gold Coast for offering prayers to the ocean (honouring all holy rivers that flow into the ocean), bathing in the ocean, hari katha and prasadam.

More details of the bus trip will be given at the Darra Centre during the Bhagavat Sapta. Registration for the bus trip will also be done then.

Glorification of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is performed in the parampara system; that is, it is conveyed from spiritual master to disciple. Such glorification is relished by those no longer interested in the false, temporary glorification of this cosmic manifestation. Descriptions of the Lord are the right medicine for the conditioned soul undergoing repeated birth and death. Therefore, who will cease hearing such glorification of the Lord except a butcher or one who is killing his own self? (Srimad Bhagavatam 10.1.4)
